What's really Important
We have more opportunities to look away from reality than most. The economy of this counry right now, is tanking.
But yet the headlines, the TV shows are all about the Oscars, and a woman who gave birth to eight children...and of course what's on the Evening News.
The important stuff, what we need to look at is being blurred by commercials for Sham-Wow towels and the new Steeler Super Bowl video.
We are in deep trouble, we just can't bear to look at it and the media makes it easy to look away.
Look away too long and we'll have an even bigger mess.
Even the news shows that cover this mess are so busy laying blame that the story soon pales.
We are at fault. We created this mess. We have to solve it.
Uplifting? No.
Forgiving? Hardly.
Marketable? Not this time.
At the very least we could pay attention to the situation.
