It seems to me that if everyone is blogging, and not everyone is but the urging is that whatever you have, put up on the web for the world, where is the commerce.
Art should not be free. Songs should not be free. Nor should performances. If you are a singer or a writer or a performer, not everything you do should be free for the masses on the web. Who believes this?
People payed to see Bob Dylan do his protest songs in New York in the 60's. The Beatles changed the world but we all bought their records. James Dean movies still are not free for rental.
Think about it. If you are an artist of any sort and you offer all your work for free, what is that?
